I’m having nothing but issues with the Security-9, though. From the second shooting session onwards (now up to 10), it will fail to eject about every fourth casing from the ... This being my first pistol I didn't know, I'd recently taken down a Glock and you had to pull that trigger. The same thing happened to me with a Stoeger shotgun, but neither owners manual mentions this. Hmmm, never had that problem, think I'd be checkin the bore if I did. There's a thread around here somewhere with some interesting pics. The feed ramp on my Sec 9 is totally different than all my other Ruger 9mm. It was seeming to pinch the nose of the Geco bullets which were more blunt than my other 115gr FMJ rounds.After removing the firing pin and cleaning the channel. simply wipe the firing lightly with a cloth with a drop or two of oil on it. Oil collects dirt and that dirt will eventually gum up the firing pin. I'd pull the Security 9 apart and re clean the channel before I'd send it back to Ruger.
