At the time I bought mine the difference was about $2500 which I gladly would have paid for the additional loader capacity. However, I wouldn’t wait a year or more for a 5400 if there was a 4701 ready for delivery unless the loader capacity was a deal breaker. I do understand why some refer to the L4701 as an orphan.
