The test has to have 3 cold starts (usually 8 hours min) to show as ready/complete. The last two times it happened, I pulled the canister, blew through the hose, cleared the code and it was good for two or three months.Here are the steps to fix. 1) Obviously shut the engine off. 2) Remove the oil cap and the top plastic cover on the engine. The plastic cover just pulls up.
