The Axe is another multi-attack weapon, being able to hit two zombies at the same time. It makes a great close-combat weapon, as you can KO a zombie in a single hit — as long as it is well-charged.So with a few settings changed to make it more difficult and turning multi-hit off, I’ve been making survival harder, as well as combat with zombies more of a tactical consideration. I’ve set my loot settings to have all your odds and ends be common, but consumables like weapons, ammo, food, meds are all harder to come by.

With multi hit a crit crits all targets, but the damage they each take is variable. With multi hit you also get reduced exp with weapons. The setting assumes you're always hitting the maximum number of targets possible with a multi hit weapon. So if a crowbar only hits 2 enemies, you get 2/3 the normal exp because it could hit 3.

Multi-Hit is a sandbox option: Character > Weapon Multi-hit. Aim outline is a game setting: Options > Cursor > Aim Outline > "Any Weapon". If you play Apocalypse, Multi-Hit is disabled by default. If you look at the video and the techniques which are employed, you can imagine how if the sword was a sharp its weight and momentum might easily be able to do ... Some weapons gain the ability to hit multiple zombies. Rolling pins, pans and saucepans can hit two enemies whereas two handed weapons like the baseball bat, axes and crowbar can hit up to three. Some weapons such as hammers and knives do not benefit from multi hit when performing an attack.
