TVEC is an electric power system that is owned and controlled by the people it serves. It is chartered by the state of Texas and provides electric service to members in the northeastern Texan counties of Anderson, Dallas, Henderson, Hunt, Kaufman and Van Zandt. As an electric cooperative, TVEC is operated on a nonprofit basis.
