Imo, borderlands 2 is much more defense focused until you acquire awesome guns and even then, enemies can still down you with one rocket or some quick bullets to the dome. At least with this build I can not worry about my aggro, have my thrall take out groups of weaker enemies all while I regenerate health and shields.Actually, the best bubble-popper was a shock Scorpio that put an incredible number of bullets on target much faster than the Sandhawk at medium to incredibly long distance. Use shock weapons to strip phaselocked enemy shields, so Helios and Cloud Kill works better. So much fun.... Depends what youre planning to do.
