Ok [and I realize this may not be timely for some] I read this thread, then I went into game and tried them all and one [and only one] worked. I went into Leper's Smile with nothing to heal with except 1 scroll of "Cure Serious Wounds" [it was to test outcomes. It is NOT part of the solution] . This is 100% the issue.

Yes all of that stuff will help. As for people "skipping turns or attacking each other", it depends on what they're affected by.
