Hey folks, I've got the infamous P0449, so I've done the normal "throw parts at it" solution with no success. To the best of my understanding, P0449 is an electrical malfunction, typically due to a fried solenoid. Here's what I got so far: 1 vent solenoid, tested working (Benchtop power supply closes it @ ~11v. Draws roughly 0.5 amps)by Thomas Williams. Something on your fuel pump module must be broken. I have the same issue but it is due to corrosion of the top of the fuel pump module. (P0455 large evap leak). You can drop the tank to easily change the fuel pump module or a lot of people will remove the box or even just tilt it up to get at the fuel module without dropping the tank.
