Helpful (1) Reviewed on July 19, 2009. Motorcycle reviewed 2009 Kawasaki Vulcan 1700 Voyager. 5.0. She's a month old, and just had her first service performed. I've taken a couple of short (300 miles in a day) trips so far, and she's a dream to ride on the hiway. Smooth and comfortable - could've done another 300 easily.
The Voyager will fit you far better than that GS450 does. Sit on one and try it out before you pluck down any money. German bikes like the K1600GT are built for large frame riders. Fully dressed, driving lights, trunk, etc. The Vaquero is more like the Street Glide and Road Glide. No trunk, no passenger backrest, no driving lights.
