I'm assuming that your side rollers are in good shape. IF that is the case, open the door manually, and detach the cables from the rollers.

My fix was to: 1. clean and relubricate the area shown in the above video, 2. adjust the tension of the metal tab of the ratchet switch, which is located in the door latch assembly, so that the tab would adequately depress the pin underneath when the tab is contacted.
