Buzzken uses 2.5in pipe and 409 stainless (ok-ish) Rawtek is 3in and 304 stainless (great) Darkside uses 3in and 316stainless (best) Buzzken is cheapest to buy, but also cheapest kit. Worth going to Rawtek or Darkside IMO. I have Rawtek downpipe & DPF, very happy with the kit. Get a malone tune and a dsg tune. Rawtek and buzzken both make full delete exhaust kits for the nms passat. Check out rawtek, they’re pretty much the people to go to for kits to delete almost anything diesel cars, especially Volkswagen, looking into their delete kits and they should have an intake for you too.

Here's a shot of the parts that came off the car. You can see the DPF filter, EGR filter, and primary and secondary cat with exhaust flapper. Behind that you can see the passenger side drive axle. The DPF unit alone is a lot heavier than it looks. I'd estimate it to weigh at least 45, maybe 50 pounds.

At a 2008 biodiesel conference, a VW representative said the engine could tolerate up to 50% fuel mix in the oil but no more. This level could be exceeded after 10,000 miles with just B5. B10 would definitely exceed this level.
