If you wiggle the barrel kinda push it in and out while lining the slide up and push the slide stop pin out. It may take a bit of fanangaling but it will come apart. The guide rod won’t make contact with the slide stop pin. So it’s a matter of lining the slide up in the sweet spot to push the stop pin out.

What I have recently learned, however, is that M*CARBO now makes a spring kit (main spring and firing pin spring) that sells for about $15 and is supposed to lower the trigger pull on a Micro 9 from 6#+ to 3 1/2 to 4#. They even have a nice video showing how to do the job. The kit is due to arrive early next week.Put a little bit of Slide Glide, NLGI 0 grease, or gun oil on your finger, the rub it all over the barrel, leaving only a light film. There is no link on a Micro 9. There is a barrel lug with a kidney-shaped cam surface milled into it. Make sure this gets the same lubrication treatment. Join the NRA.
