It only shows up if both you and the other person are on iOS 15 or macOS Monterey. My guess is your Mac is updated but your phone isn’t. It‘s related to Focus settings—they may have a Focus set up that silences notifications for everyone (like the original Do Not Disturb) or they could set up a Focus that silences notifications from all but a specific set of people.
