Jun 29, 2011 · I've noticed my lug-nuts are ever so slightly twisted from torquing them to 160-165 lbs. I have pro-comp 6059-1079's and whatever lug-nuts they gave me with them. It never occurred to me that the torque specs might be different because the lug-nuts are a different composition metal. 165 ft lbs is for the factory wheels. The manual covers 1999-2010 Super Duty pick-ups/Excursion F-250 and F-350 gas and diesels. It is saying in chapter 10-19 that the upper ball-joint nut for 2001 and earlier is 101 lbs with the lower being the same at 101 lbs.
