If I use only one MPPT/input on a EG4 6500ex-48 will the inverter be able to use more than 4000w? Say I have 2 PV strings in parallel inputting to a single MPPT input (other MPPT input not used) and the array is 380 VMP and amps are 17a. That could be 6460 watts into a single MPPT without exceeding the volt or amp limits.

The EG4 6000EX-48HV inverter does not list the idle consumption in any of it's documentation, and now I see that's probably because it consumes a lot! About 130 watts idle consumption for this unit. A main panel has the N/G bonded together, any subsiquent sub panel does not and must be fed with L1, L2, N and G wires.
