Spend $1,000 on a used Browning BSS and tomorrow it's still worth $1,000 . . . maybe more. Part of that is just the difference between buying new versus buying used. You don't take new/used depreciation when you buy used. But also, long-term the Browning will hold its value better than the CZ. Probably a lot better.Was looking at both models in 28 gauge and actually got to shoot the bobwhite. Problem is I wanted 28 inch barrels and color casing, double triggers, and english straight grip stock. Neither model has all the features I am looking for but s0 has 28 inch barrels bobwhite has color casing Anyone...I've seen 4 new Bobwhite guns at my local club with problems out of the box. A 28 gauge that wouldn't fire at all, no indent on the primer, 2 20 gauge guns that had lite primer strikes on one or both barrels and the one today was a 20 gauge that fired both barrels when the front trigger was pulled.I had a 20 gauge Bobwhite and sold it. I've regretted it ever since. Great shooting gun and I really liked that straight stock. That being said, I've got a CZ Sharptail (not the coach gun version of course) now for my bird hunting. Fantastic gun but I do miss the straight stock.
