When I did my 5.3 swap on my YJ, I installed all original GM parts from the Canister, Vent valve to the Purge Valve in the back of the jeep next to the gas tank. I own a 93 YJ and a 99TJ, YJ's have a regulator on at the fuel rail with the return going back to the tank and TJ's have a single feed line with all regulation in the tank as part of the sending unit.
