Just had to fix a low ridding dragging slide over a P80 PFC940 frame with new rails courtesy of P80, so I am happy with this outcome. The newly designed P80S look like a b*tch to mill out the rear housing space, so just going to drop a KMT slide on a PSA for the next "build".

The first 10 rounds were basically single fire, where the slide wouldn't even move. I was able to solve that issue by sanding and polishing the rails. The gun now has 230 rounds, not including the first 10 rounds, without any issues. Only regret is being late to the P80 game with the bs ATF rules currently in effect. 14.

The PF940v2 or the Glock 17 Polymer 80 jig is the standard full-size red jig with the tab removal template, locking block area, and drill bits for the pin holes. The part number for the PF940v2 jig is P80-PG940v2-JIG. For the full-size version of the Polymer 80, you will need to drill the M3, and M4 labeled pin holes.
The Polymer80 frame has random-patterned stipling that provides more grip than the factory GLOCK frame. It's also less bowed near the palm, with a smaller flare at the magazine well. We can also see the P80 frame's trigger guard is larger and molded with finger grooves. The factory GLOCK's trigger guard is smaller and simpler.
The P80 is after all a close "clone" of the Glock platform. This is due to the large amount of aftermarket Glock parts available making building or customization simple. If you wanted to trick out your Glock with a frame/stipple job maybe get and RMR cut, then the P80 could save you a little money, not much though. If you build it (P80) with stock parts, trigger, basic slide etc. then you will end up spending between at least $100-$200 more for that P80 to be equivalent to a stock Glock.The sights on the P80 are very nice, and made out of steel, not plastic, as found on Glocks. The front sight has a big white dot, while the rear sight is all black, but with horizontal serrations - make it fast to pick your target.
