There's also a starter relay in the PDC (power distribution center) under the hood. tell us more!Duh-rango. Per FSM. 3.6L. The Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor on the 3.6L engine is installed into a water jacket at rear of the cylinder head on the left side of the engine. WARNING. Hot, pressurized coolant can cause injury by scalding. Cooling system must be partially drained before removing the coolant temperature sensor.Here's the whole saga in an abridged version: 7/23/2018 - went to originally selling dealer with mysterious fluid leaking under the car, between front doors. If it's been done, look for the relay that is externally wired and it should be forward of the box, just aft of the right headlight on the frame. Edit: NVM Im thinking of fuel pump relay, sorry. Seems crazy or there just wasn't enough room in the well under the passenger seat for the two batteries with the H7 that came in the '11-15 V6. Heck I plan to go in the other direction and switch to the bigger H8 out of the JGC with the 3.0L Eco Diesel in my '14 V6. It's possible that your starter might be bad, I would recheck connections, and the starter relay which is a known issue on the earlier Gen 3 Durangos.
